Who we are

The Food Chain (North East) was set up in 2004 as a way of making it easier for people in the north east to buy fresh, affordable fruit and locally grown or sourced vegetables.

We are a Social Enterprise, which means we are not driven by profit. We price our products to cover our costs, any surplus which we do make will be ploughed back into the company to help us to expand our business.
